Job Title: Senior Business Development Manager

Job Overview:

We are looking for a Senior Business Development Manager with a strong track record of driving revenue growth, forging strategic partnerships, and expanding business operations across geographies and sectors. The ideal candidate should have 10+ years of experience in B2B/B2G markets, preferably in IT services, SaaS, industrial automation, blockchain, or AI solutions. You will work closely with the leadership team to shape market strategy and lead end-to-end business development efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in domestic and international markets.
  • Develop and execute growth strategies across verticals like IT services, AI, blockchain, ESG, and automation.
  • Build strong relationships with key decision-makers in private and public sector enterprises.
  • Lead the full sales cycle: lead generation, pitching, proposal creation, negotiation, and closing.
  • Collaborate with marketing and product teams to align GTM strategies and support demand generation.
  • Participate in vendor registrations, tender processes, and government project bids (especially in India, UAE, Singapore).
  • Drive partnerships, channel alliances, and strategic collaborations.
  • Prepare detailed business proposals, MoUs, presentations, and client-specific pitch decks.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and client feedback for continuous improvement.
  • Meet or exceed revenue and margin targets set by management.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of proven experience in business development or enterprise sales.
  • Strong understanding of B2B technology landscape – especially in AI, Blockchain, Industrial Solutions, and Software Services.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lead teams and mentor junior business development executives.
  • Experience working with government agencies, tenders, and CSR-linked projects is a plus.
  • Well-versed in proposal writing, costing, pricing strategies, and CRM tools.
  • Comfortable with travel and client-facing interactions.
  • Strong network across sectors such as manufacturing, logistics, infrastructure, or public sector undertakings.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MBA or Master’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related fields.
  • Familiarity with Startup India, StartupTN, MSME, and Smart City initiatives.
  • Exposure to international business, particularly in the Middle East or Southeast Asia.
  • Experience working in or with IT companies, consultancies, or system integrators.
