Job Title: Blockchain Team Lead
Location: Dubai, UAE
Experience: 7–10 Years (with 3+ years in blockchain development)
Job Overview:
We are seeking a Blockchain Team Lead to head our blockchain development efforts in Dubai. You will be responsible for leading a cross-functional team to design, develop, and deploy secure, scalable blockchain solutions across DeFi, NFTs, tokenization, or enterprise applications. Ideal for someone who’s both technically hands-on and capable of team/project leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end blockchain solution architecture, development, and deployment.
- Manage and mentor a team of smart contract developers, backend engineers, and DevOps specialists.
- Design token economics, consensus models, and on-chain/off-chain architectures.
- Guide the development of smart contracts using Solidity, Rust, or Move.
- Oversee dApp development and blockchain integrations (wallets, bridges, explorers).
- Drive security-first development and coordinate audits (e.g., Certik, Hacken).
- Work closely with stakeholders on project planning, timelines, and technical documentation.
- Stay current with emerging blockchain trends, Layer 1/Layer 2 technologies, and regulatory frameworks (e.g., VARA Dubai).
- Coordinate with external vendors, exchanges, and tech partners as needed.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 7+ years in software development, including 3+ years in blockchain technologies.
- Expertise in Ethereum, Polygon, BNB Chain, or similar EVM-compatible chains.
- Proficient in Solidity, Web3.js, ethers.js, and Node.js-based stacks.
- Experience with blockchain infrastructure: IPFS, The Graph, Chainlink, Hardhat, Truffle.
- Strong understanding of consensus mechanisms, cryptographic primitives, and blockchain security.
- Experience with token standards (ERC-20, ERC-721, ERC-1155) and custom token logic.
- Proven ability to manage agile sprints and deliver production-grade Web3 products.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Cosmos SDK, Substrate, or L1 chain development is a big plus.
- Understanding of RWA (Real World Asset) tokenization, DeFi protocols, or DAO frameworks.
- Familiarity with VARA, DIFC, or other UAE blockchain regulations.
- Experience with smart contract audits and tools like Slither, MythX, and Tenderly.
- Prior leadership in a startup or product-based blockchain company.
